Parent, carer and staff well being information

30th April 2021

Following a number of localised consultations, we are pleased to give schools the opportunity for staff, parents & carers to join a series of FREE live webinars over the coming months to help support you with the impact of a global pandemic. In the final of our 3 pairs of webinars we invite you to join us in exploring the theory of wellbeing and learning practical strategies that will enhance the wellbeing of the children we care for.

One of the consequences of the last year has been the significant impact that lockdown, covid and associated pressures have had on adult mental health. Throughout this webinar we will be drawing upon up to date evidence and examining the following:

  • What is wellbeing?
  • Why is adult wellbeing important for children?
  • What can we do to help our own wellbeing when we are struggling / in times of stress?
  • Tips and strategies we can use when our wellbeing is low and to help continue being ‘good enough’ caregivers.

Booking your place:

The webinars have been divided into two sessions; one for school staff and the other for parents. Please book using the Eventbrite links below (there are two separate links for the specific audiences). We would appreciate it if you could forward the details about the parents & carers webinar and encourage them to participate. Each session will be approximately 1 ½ hrs including time for questions.
